Harshit Rana underwent knee surgery in Mumbai on February 9, 2026, after injuring himself during a T20 World Cup 2026 warm-up match against South Africa. He will not be fit for any part of IPL 2026. Mustafizur Rahman (bought for ₹9.20 crore at auction) was released from KKR’s squad in January 2026 on BCCI directive following India-Bangladesh political tensions. KKR were permitted to sign a replacement.
