IPL 2026 Pre-Season Training Camps: All 10 Teams — Where They’re Training, Who’s Assembled & What to Expect

With IPL 2026 just 13 days away (March 28 opener: RCB vs SRH at Chinnaswamy, 7:30 PM IST), all 10 franchises are now deep into their pre-season preparation. From CSK’s High-Performance Centre in Navalur to Rajasthan Royals assembling in Jaipur today (March 15–17) to KKR’s camp beginning on March 18, the countdown is well and truly on. Here is a complete guide to where every team is training, who has assembled, and what to expect from each franchise going into Match 1.

1. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) — Navalur, Chennai

CSK were the first team to begin pre-season preparations, starting on March 1 at their High-Performance Centre in Navalur, Chennai. Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and the legendary MS Dhoni were among the first to report. The squad also includes new signing Sanju Samson (traded from RR) along with uncapped recruits Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma (both ₹14.20 crore). 2. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) — Mullanpur/Bengaluru

Defending champions RCB held pre-season camps in January (5-day intensive), then in Abu Dhabi in February. Their latest pre-season camp began at Mullanpur, New Chandigarh on March 15 before the squad moves to Bengaluru. 3. Mumbai Indians (MI) — DY Patil / Mumbai

Mumbai Indians have been using the DY Patil Tournament in Navi Mumbai as part of their early build-up, with players who are not on national duty participating. The full squad camp was expected to begin around March 12–15. Overseas stars Trent Boult, Quinton de Kock and Will Jacks were expected to arrive around March 10. 4. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) — Eden Gardens, Kolkata

KKR players are expected to arrive in Kolkata by March 17 with the full pre-season camp beginning on March 18 at Eden Gardens. This will be the first time the squad including Cameron Green (₹25.20 crore — most expensive overseas player ever), Blessing Muzarabani (new signing replacing Mustafizur) and Ajinkya Rahane (captain) comes together as a unit. 5. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) — Hyderabad

SRH were among the early starters, beginning their camp in Hyderabad on March 1 with domestic players. Uncapped players Salil Arora, Harsh Dubey and Aniket Verma joined early. International stars including Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen are expected closer to the opener. 6. Rajasthan Royals (RR) — Jaipur (March 17)

Rajasthan Royals officially announced their first full-squad camp will begin at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur on March 17. Head Coach and Director of Cricket Kumar Sangakkara confirmed the camp will focus on team bonding, intensive training and strength and conditioning sessions. A smaller group including Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Ravi Bishnoi and most recently Ravindra Jadeja had already attended a fitness assessment at RR’s High-Performance Centre in Nagpur. This Jaipur camp is the first time the full squad — including trade recruits Jadeja and Sam Curran — assembles together. RR travel to Guwahati on March 26. 7. Gujarat Titans (GT) — Nathdwara

Gujarat Titans held two practice sessions at the Miraj International Cricket Stadium in Nathdwara. Under captain Shubman Gill, GT are rebuilding after losing the IPL 2025 final. 8. Punjab Kings (PBKS) — Dharamsala

Punjab Kings first trained in Abu Dhabi in early February before moving to a camp in Dharamsala at the HPCA Stadium. Under new captain Shreyas Iyer, PBKS are rebuilding after their IPL 2025 final loss to RCB. Their new home ground this season is the PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh (Mullanpur). 9. Delhi Capitals (DC) — Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi

Delhi Capitals held a preparatory camp in Hyderabad and are expected to begin training at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi from around March 14. Under captain Axar Patel (coach: Hemang Badani), DC have a strong squad including Kuldeep Yadav, KL Rahul, Mitchell Starc and Kuldeep Yadav — who just got married on March 14! 10. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) — Lucknow

Lucknow Super Giants held a preparatory session in Lucknow with some domestic players. Captain Rishabh Pant (₹27 crore — IPL’s most expensive retained player) will lead LSG for the first time after his blockbuster retention. Read the LSG IPL 2026 Squad.
